Not much

A lot of the requirements to level up require you to buy expensive gems and add people. So you cant move on unless you are lucky enough to have a bunch of friends who also happen to have this game. The game also pauses a bit while you are away but making a meal requires time. So unless you have the game open it will stop. I know that a lot of games have in app purchasing but this basically makes it completely impossible to move on unless you spend your whole paycheck on this game. Ive seen other games balance its level mobility and in app purchasing much better.
